Summary from Goodreads:
An emotional love story that follows the touch-and-go relationship of Hayden and Tenley; two young people who desperately want to love and be loved but are afraid to completely let go of their pasts.

As Hayden and Tenley navigate their newfound but slightly unstable relationship, they want to trust each other, but Hayden is hiding a dark and shameful past that he doesn’t ever want Tenley to find out about. And Tenley has secrets of her own that could make Hayden run away forever. When Tenley asks Hayden to put a beautifully elaborate tattoo across her back, the two form what they thought was an unshakeable bond. But when Tenley’s past shows up on her doorstep, will Hayden stand by her side…or run?

I’ve always loved this cover since I first saw it and yeah, immediately added it to my TBR.  I’ve had this cover in my drafts but had a hard time deciding where I wanted to go with this look.  I didn’t want to do the literal wings so I put it away for another time.  When I got a print copy and saw how much prettier the cover is in person, I realized what kind of look I wanted.  I love how the earrings are similar to the wings on the cover but in a vague kind of way.  And I was pretty damn excited when I found the dress and shoes that seemed to complete the outfit perfectly.  I’m actually starting this series next and I’m very excited to read it!Check out my previous Book Looks!

  11. Aww that dress looks like it would be so cute at a night-time dance that had a really cliché theme like, “A night under the stars” (which was actually my eighth grade dance theme and this would’ve been such a cool dress for that) I love all the wing jewelry too, and those wedges are on point :D
