My blogging break is officially over! Although I didn’t really stop blogging, it was a much needed escape to take a break from this blog. I was looking forward to reading so many books now that I’m not working but I was surprised to find out that time flies now that I’m a stay at home mom. Between making breakfast, lunch, dinner and taking care of my 3 year old daughter, I don’t get to have any reading time. Luckily, I’ve been listening to some awesome audiobooks. I did manage to read a few books. Most of my free time last week was spent working on my new blog! I’ve been having way too much fun with the Book Look posts I’ve been doing but I have way too many and I really don’t want to start annoying my readers by posting them so much on here. I also wanted to do other fashion-non-book-related-posts so I finally got the guts to get it started. I got a pretty banner and button from Lisseth @ Book-a-Holicz. My new blog is brand new so if you want to take a look and maybe follow, I will love you forever.
Received for Beta:
Finding Joy by Jenni Moen
(no cover or Goodreads link yet)
Remembering Joy is one of my favorite books this year and I was super excited when Jenni asked me to beta review for her. Plan to read this one very soon! Read my review of Remembering Joy.
Tease was one of my WOW picks last week so I snatched it up as soon as I saw in on Edelweiss!
I’ve had Anything To Have You on my wish list for a while, sounds like my kind of book!
Historical books aren’t usually my thing, but this is the ultimate forbidden love story.
I really enjoyed Kimberly Derting’s The Body Finder series and I love memory loss books so I’m excited to read this.
Fracture was such a hauntingly beautiful story, so freaking excited for this one.
I really liked On Dublin Street and I’m looking forward to reading both of these.
Audiobook Received For Review:
Four Seconds to Lose by K.A. Tucker
I’ve heard such good things about these books!
Easy by Tammara Webber
Safe With Me by Kriten Proby
Up In Flames by Nicole Williams
I’ve read/loved Easy and Safe With Me and I’m a big fan of Nicole Williams. I got these 3 audiobooks for less than $10!
Last week I read Stir Me Up by Sabrina Elkins which was really good and Pretending She’s His by Kelsie Leverich who I love. I’m about halfway done with Succubus On Top by Richelle Mead. The past two weeks I listened to Charade by Nyrae Dawn, Rule by Jay Crownover, Shatter Me and Unravel Me by Tahereh Mafi. I’ve already read all of these and I loved the audiobooks as much as the books. The guy that does Rule’s voice is awesome and the audiobooks for Shatter Me and Unravel Me are a work of art! You have to check them out! Hope everyone else had a great week, leave me a link to your STS post
